The Furry Convention was now in session. Folks in costumes from anthropomorphic obsessions. From anime, from manga, from tot's TV shows, The costumes so elaborate, anything goes!
There's Pepe Le Pew! A tribe of Care bears! Why is Roger Rabbit so wobbly over there? Oh, no! He's fallen! He's grievously wounded! In a friendly gathering, with whom had feuded?
An ambulance takes Roger to a veterinary hospital. His head pops off, a reroute to E.R. is logical! The police arrive, but investigation is hampered. All are in costumes, and several are hammered!
It was done by one of the number of attendees. But suspicion has fallen on Honey, the honey bee! Her stinger is missing, it matched the one in Roger. She is drunk as a skunk (Le Pew likes his lager)!
Tearfully she admits that she stung him accidentally. He'd made some advances, less than gentlemanly. The climax? When he patted her rear, it exploded! In recovery, he alibied, "I didn't know she was loaded!"

The jumble was pretty easy. The clues were no problem and after a few seconds the solution was clear. Kinda cute, sorta.
I knocked this J off very quickly and I had no problem with the riddle.
I guess Roger had one too many "Stingers"

Furry costumes, like mascot costumes, include full heads, and I didn't know what to call them -- helmet? mask? If you know, I'll change it
It was "with whom had feuded". Didn't quite get the construction. No big deal.
