One may feel a minor triumph

Honey, you are very funny
but we just don't have any money.
The lavish party you want is unwise
and unlikely to win you a prize.
I doubt anyone will buy our grout--
not a contractor nor a building scout.
So lets just have a little fun,
and save our money for the long run.
Ol' Man Keith, thanks for having me look up your"shoku" post. Your puzzle today is a delight: I loved the way you figured out how to work "grout" into your rhyme.

I can easily imagine her advising her spouse against an expensive party meant to promote the sale of their grout!

Wilbur, I must not be paying attention; confused about Charles. Anyway, it's nice that Chet and Lois spent Easter together.
I find mself not doing jumbles absolutely every day without fail. Sometimes I'm tired: like to do them before bed, but lately been early to bed, before Owen gets them up. I think it's a wonder he keeps up with them, with the problems he's been having!
