The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are welcomed! And couching them in Poetry is definitely NOT required.
Do not explicitly reveal any of the actual answer words until after closing time, but embedding them surreptitiously in comment sentences is encouraged.

I went to high school with some twins who were always very good, not like these little guys. Marilyn and Carolyn, they were. Boy, that was a long time ago!

She resisted all obligations not conducive to mental health.
She was…

Up to No ‘Should’!

The woman opposed
feeling guilt: “Shan’t overdo that
f*#@‘n sense of shame.”

Sandy, Phil knew two pair of twins. The first I took to Fenway Park and met a friend. He referred to them as the twins from hell.

There's a healthy spirit of mischief and an unhealthy one.

The other pair were boy and girl but nothing alike. She went through every phase: Goth, gay then went into the service and is now a married mother

He just got commissioned in the Reserves. The first pair manage Tire Companies. Phil's other close friend , Adam, married "Andy"

BTW, I suppose you want to hear more about Lois not Doug, Neal and Eddie

"Romance Recovery"

After the suitor did his girlfriend jilt
he felt considerable guilt.
He had been up to no good,
but now his fault understood.

He would now again his sweet woman woo,
but knew he must not overdo.
So he took time a poem to compose
that did marriage to her propose
in such a kind way she could nor oppose.

In response, inspired by this caring muse
his request she could not refuse.
And so his repentance had led
to the couple being happily wed.
