There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!

|| || expel, loopy, refuse, jogger, you'll see.
The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are the lifeblood of a blog!
Read the comments, and reply to them if you are so moved!
See, the management's gone to loopy Hell Since they gave the super's job to Lulu-Bell! She refused entrance to a jogger, Tried to expel a long-time lodger. If you think she's not that bad, Oh, you will!
In contrast to Monday, today's jumble was not a debacle for me. The clues came fast, and the solution was easy to see from the cartoon. Ben Franklin is my favorite Founding Father -- he was so smart and creative. I think of him every time I put on my glasses, though mine are trifocals rather than bifocals.
As OMK said, the poem is short but packed with hints. And I do hope that the ominous ending presages more to come from Lulu-Bell.
Due to my lack of time I haven't tried the J in a while but when I glanced at this one, the words just popped out and like Sandyanon, I admire Ben Franklin for his creativity and inventiveness. I appreciate that he developed bifocals which I wore for many years until Lasik removed the astigmatism and I no longer need them. I use readers for close up viewing. Nicely done, Owen!
Hi Owen. I haven't had time to do the Jumble yet, but I worried about you when I didn't see a post from you on the Crossword Corner. So I'm relieved that you posted here. I have a doctor's appointment, but will take the Jumble with me and see what I can do. Get back to you later.
Oh dear, I hope Owen is okay. Well, while I was at the doctor's office I tackled the Jumble. Got everything but #3 on my first try, and then worked on the solution. TaDa! I got it, and that helped me to also get #3. So a great ending to my puzzle day. Now we'll just have to hope that we hear from Owen tomorrow.

Today's solution reminds me of that little-known Christmas ocean: the Yule Sea.
Thank you, Owen, for a sweet lil' quickie that squeezes everything in!

Owen, I also noted that you have no poem on the Corner, and that the jumble poem is shorter than usual. I do hope you're feeling ok.
I join with Sandy in hoping all's well with you, Owen. Please reassure your friends & fans when you read our worried posts.
