I'm getting really worried.
Yes, this may be his longest absence. He's updated the Jumble--or maybe someone has done it for him.
There's still time for him to check in.
Owen ~ If you can post a word even before a poem is ready, please give us a brief sign that you're OK!

Ditto. Meanwhile, I spotted the Riddle-Solution immediately worked out the two tricky 6's but misspelled #1 as KNEAL.
Having the letters at that point I finally got it.
I could check Facebook. He's often in that milieu.
Off to the closing

Oh dear, I was so hoping Owen would be back. I depend on his poems for help with the tough clues and the solution, and just enjoy them for their novelty and ingenuity. Owen, it's tough starting our mornings without you--we hope so much that you're okay.
I needed help with the fourth item--should've gotten it. And so had to look up the solution. Not my favorite Jumble.

Owen! Thank you, thank you for posting. Glad you're okay in body. Sorry to read the rest. We won't press.

Today's solution hint?
[To be pronounced with a Spanish accent, eliding the /s/ sound:]
He'd driven his company into the ground, He had engaged in some real bi’ness devilment.

Owen, so very glad to hear from you -- even if it's mixed news.
Owen, what a relief to hear from you--thank you for stopping by. Take good care of yourself.
