Yes, I tend to feel droopy in the morning, and coffee helps me wake up. I make drip coffee, though, not percolated. I think it has an extra punch that way.
And after sharing their morning coffee, Jim and "Sunshine" enjoyed a few minutes of backyard recreation with their young beagle.
Giving chase to his favorite ball sometimes worked their pup into a frenzy that could only be calmed by a two-person belly rub!

While you were out, Godot stopped by,
Prepared to tell all. He expressed his sorrow
At your absence. "Tell Wilbur," he said with a sigh,
"I'll surely reveal my secrets tomorrow."

Come on, Owen and Wilbur--I really needed your verses to help me with this puzzle. I thought I had all four words but they just didn't click with the solution. And Ol'Man Keith's gloss made it clear that something didn't work, though Sandy assured me that my third word was right, and I knew one and two were okay too. So played around with four some more, and the solution finally popped right up. Really picked me up again, thank goodness.
Yes, Godot missed you
Wilbur, and kissed you
'Goodbye'
With a sigh.
Sorry Misty etal, I had to go across the Bay to St Pete VA. And I always like to catch up with old pals.
By the time I got back here it was nap time. I'll try to get "Bilbo returns home" so sometime later tonight.

Yay, Wilbur. I was a little worried about you. Look forward to to your poem if you have time to write it. But there's always tomorrow!
No problem, Wilbur. We'll look forward to Bilbo tomorrow.
Bilbo perked up as he passed the old mill at BagEnd
Where a remarkable scene awaited our intrepid friend
Like a punch in the gut he saw his belongings auctioned off
"Bilbo, is that really you?", said Master
Grubb, with a cough.
"We thought you'd left for good, eloped perhaps
You must admit, given that over a year has elapsed
It's only natural that your effects be put up for sale".
"Well I'm back, alive and kicking, so you must curtail,
Revoke and remit all these transactions, I insist
And hereby order you Master Grubb to cease and desist."
His cousins the Sackville-Baggins were taken aback
At his return. Their heads drooped, amazed at this attack
They'd had their hearts set on BagEnd as their own
Said Lobelia to Lotho, "Why couldn't he have just drowned".

Thank you, thank you, Wilbur, for giving us Bilbo's (albeit sad) homecoming. It was all there, all four words and the solution--a nice gift to get at the end of the day. Really perked me up--thank you!
