Misty ~ Your pastor is a solid guy, doing his best to make life bearable for his flock.
I gotta say, ministers & priests and such have come a long way over the centuries.
Patio grilling is a happy substitute for burning at the stake.

CanadianEh!, I just love the way you can take all those pleasant Jumble words and turn them into a totally negative verse. But, wait, I get it--you were influenced by Dracula and his family, weren't you? I bet this is exactly what they wanted you to do!
Wilbur, perhaps if you'd ambled in your thoughts just a little longer, perhaps the Wordle solution would have popped right up.
CEh!, your poem brought to mind a quote. "In his journal of Nov. 11, 1850, Thoreau was writing about a little brook in a marsh when he suddenly injected this single-sentence non sequitur: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.”"

Thanks for that, Wilbur. I appreciate the care.
But my post (FLN) was about the presence (invasion?) of Wordle on this blog.
It is something I inveighed against on several occasions. But I lost that hand, so cannot feel overly concerned with Misty’s enjoying her end-runs—or my helping.

What i like about it is that it adds color to an otherwise blah looking text only blog. And gives me another opportunity to flex my poetry and cryptic clue muscles.
