Todayโs Jumble haiku:
โHow Fish Dilute Chances

Salmon wear berets
to fool bearsโwho hate drippy
French nasal voices.

You wanna take in a movie Friday night, Baby?

Rude Bell Natives
In the French town of Bell,
Men never tip their beret,
Or greet with โMerci, mademoiselle.โ
Wine is diluted at the cafรฉ,
Tainted salmon is served as well.
No diner is given a menu choice
Or chance their preference to voice.
Maybe we should not go there,
But find hospitality elsewhere.
I was ambling along when I said, [perhaps]

Fln, I do recall who threw Wordle talk off CC but he doesn't remove posts it's the great blog-god
AIs are strange. They start off dumb and then learn but much like a child learns(fe. Don't touch, it's hot)

"Kindness"
The pastor wore a beret
and did for his community pray.
He used his kind and strong voice
to help people to make the right choice.
He urged couples to avoid dispute
and work their differences to dilute.
He wanted his relatives to have fun,
and at parties cooked them salmon.
In return he was much revered
and by all who knew him cheered.
WC ~ I was referring to this page, not CC. Thatโs another matter.
My bad. Sorry if itโs confusing.

Misty ~ Your pastor is a solid guy, doing his best to make life bearable for his flock.
I gotta say, ministers & priests and such have come a long way over the centuries.
Patio grilling is a happy substitute for burning at the stake.
CEh! ~ We both struggled, with not-dissimilar results, over our titles!
That restaurant in Bell makes you wonder how they stay open.
I guess some folk will go out of their way for authentic French cuisine.

I don't want to take in a movie with you on Friday, Ol' Man Keith, but maybe there's another simpler way I could thank you for that once again incredibly helpful Wordle clue you gave us today:

Once again, a real gift. Many thanks.
Owen,
"January is winter still,
February keeps the chill
March is windy
April's pretty
May becomes a pole's frill."
June is time to take a pill
July is the month that gives a thrill.
Sorry, Owen, I just couldn't help adding another month or two to your delightful verse!
CanadianEh!, I just love the way you can take all those pleasant Jumble words and turn them into a totally negative verse. But, wait, I get it--you were influenced by Dracula and his family, weren't you? I bet this is exactly what they wanted you to do!
Wilbur, perhaps if you'd ambled in your thoughts just a little longer, perhaps the Wordle solution would have popped right up.
CEh!, your poem brought to mind a quote. "In his journal of Nov. 11, 1850, Thoreau was writing about a little brook in a marsh when he suddenly injected this single-sentence non sequitur: โSome circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.โ"
Keith, I was referring to the blocked post on CC that CC herself restored.
I brought the conversation over here for more privacy. I was simply adding my 2 cents ie being targeted because you'd been previously deleted. And, that there is no rhyme or reason to the blogger AI Bot
WC
Thanks for that, Wilbur. I appreciate the care.
But my post (FLN) was about the presence (invasion?) of Wordle on this blog.
It is something I inveighed against on several occasions. But I lost that hand, so cannot feel overly concerned with Mistyโs enjoying her end-runsโor my helping.
~ OMK
What i like about it is that it adds color to an otherwise blah looking text only blog. And gives me another opportunity to flex my poetry and cryptic clue muscles.
