OMK- the given words took us in totally different directions today.
Bongo for a pony’s name was original. (I thought about going with a monkey theme, but the Wordle swayed me).
No Spooners from that solution - I went for a palindrome, while you leaned to rhyme.
You hid the second B word and the P word marvellously.
I hid both B words (plus the D word) but you have to work to find them.
WC- we had similar guesses today. Too many rhyming words.
"Recovery"
On a pillow in a hospital
Doris did dwell.
There she gobbled good food
and soon became well.
In recovery a bongo
she learned to play
and a bucket of melodies
soon cheered up her day.
“A bucket of melodies” sounds like a terrific cheat sheet for a bongo player!

It's not a bad starter word with the two vowels and scrabble one pointers.
My starter got me nada but eliminated two vowels

If it spiraled out of control it might get dicey and to start a fight
Accomplished nothing except to make him look like Bongo the monkey.
He was committed to pray for patience before his head hit the pillow at night.

I am a little alarmed by his re-wording of the AA Prayer: isn’t letting “the rest be” the same as accepting what he “can’t change”? I thought he’d want the courage to change what he can…
