I didn’t do much disguising tonight, folks,
‘Cuz the J-words fell into place for me.
Today’s Jumble haiku:
(There are amusements that challenge our choices. Some, like kittens & yarn, just break a smile; & others, like Laurel & Hardy antics, accomplish fully 9 of 10 points.
Some events swing between extremes, leaving us with…)
“Spiraling Options”
These are dicey laughs.
Hard to commit, whether to
chuckle or guffaw…

Fln, OMK, valid pount. I had no room for Part 2 so I just embroidered on Part 1.
George Harrison sings about Acceptance in Let it be, let it be.
By accepting Andy and his cohorts as they are he can concentrate on himself

"Best Boss"
Linda delighted her staff
with jokes that made them laugh.
To many projects she'd commit
whether they were easy or dicey,
and she spiraled to make them fit
without making them in any way pricey.
She gave her staff everything they wished
which made their work highly accomplished.
Didn't think I could get today's Wordle, but got a hint and it worked:

Ol' Man Keith, your haiku today made me laugh, but I've got a question for you:
what's the difference between a chuckle and a guffaw? Does one have more sound than the other, or a different motivation? Still trying to sharpen my English after more than half a century of speaking it.
Fait Accompli
With the itch to create,
He committed and toiled.
Pasta spirals were boiled,
Onions diced,
Meat spiced,
Tomatoes cut in half.
It was a truly Italian meal.
But since he was a francophile*
He said “Bon Appรฉtit” with a laugh.
*please use the French pronunciation if you wish to enjoy the rhyme
A chuckle takes place entirely within the throat, Misty, whereas a guffaw involves the belly and, at its upper limit, can include tremors throughout the torso, up through the shoulders.
Your Linda very likely stimulated both types of laughs in her staff who, satisfied with all the perks and goodies she provided, must have included "good-will chortling" even when her gags weren't all that funny.
Enjoyed reading about your Italian chef, CanadianEh!
I was going to compliment him in his native tongue, and Google says he might be called a Capo-cuoco. But like most top cooks these days, he would prefer to be addressed like a frenchie, as "Chef."
Ah, well, I'm sure the menu would keep the good ol' Italian names.
Question: Which is the favorite restaurant in Rome these days?
Answer: Caffรจ al McDonald's.

You guys did so well in getting today's Wordle down.
I hadn't the heart to post mine, as I honesty don't know how I did it in 2.
I did it last night, whistled at the result, and just filed it away.
I started with my usual ADIEU, which gave me, as you can see, only one hit--right in the middle.
Then I moved that vowel to the front and took a wild stab.
I am as shocked as anyone at my Bingo!

Thank you for replying to my AA prayer note FLN, Wilbur. Yeah, I thought it seemed a bit odd.
But I do appreciate the adaptations required by the good muse, Erato, when it comes to the demands of rhythm 'n' rhyme.

Busy day, and I didn’t have much time to comment.
OMK- I chuckled at your dicey laughs. My Canadian version of Laurel and Hardy was Wayne and Shuster. They were good for a guffaw.
Congrats on your Wordle. Some days you get lucky.
Thanks for your kind words about my chef.
WC- FLN Thanks for the update on Chet and his praying for patience, and learning to concentrate on himself.
Misty- congrats on your Wordle.
Linda really seems like the best boss, with her jokes to lighten the office mood, but also her adaptations to help solve even the diciest projects. And her staff responds by completing those projects.
