Today’s Jumble haiku:

Even, my dear, when it pertains to my mercenary arm ink?
During the season of…)
“Noel, hon?”
The house limit can’t
stop me. As my tattoo says,

The current Bot starter!
How ‘bout that!?

Congress is in an uproar,
Marchers can't take much more.
Is time foretold
Taking a hold?
It's later than we bargained for!
“Monday Monday”
Uproarious Congress may recommend charges
be leveled ‘gainst Trump. Enough to enlarge his
foul reputation,
beyond disputation,
and pay off a dozen villainous karmas.

I should have used my usual starter instead of the vowel-Rich one. I wouldn’t have needed the first two guesses. Then this Canadian chose our favourite winter activity before going to an old-fashioned
No partial wins at this casino.
None Unwhole
The house payout has no limit,
The slate is clean,
Winner takes all.
That too is amazing!
OMK- if you take the L out of No-el you get One. My pun for the day. I just realized, a title could be Noel in One. Groan!
Winners B Winners would be a great tat.
Odd that W would use the bot word. There may be a lot of holes in one today.
Owen- I found the W! But this Canadian will not comment on your American politics. I just shake my head.
"Courtship"
Wendy was a winner,
so Walt invited her to dinner
at his house. And to woo
her, he took her to the zoo
and paid for her new tattoo.
But that was not the limit,
for he was not yet ready to quit.
They played golf and to make sure she won
he helped her get a hole in one.
Now was the time he thoughtfully chose
to get down on one knee and to propose.
Wow! Lots of cool, possibly problematic, arty and even political verses this morning--with crazy plays on words everywhere! Enjoyed them all.
Loved your Noel haiku, Ol' Man Keith. Your tattoo must have taken up a lot of space--on your arm or? And I'm with you on your verse politics, and with you too, Owen.
Once again your verse cracked me up, CanadianEh!. I always check it for the J words and there's usually one I can't find. But at least this morning I got that (one) too.
Wilbur and )OMK, you've coaxed me into trying a Wordle today.
Thought I'd get this Wordle on one or two tries--but it took an extra one:

Misty- we are in rare form today - and in all different directions.
And again, you have a positive courtship with Walt and Wendy.
I smiled at “her” in a new line (but of course you couldn’t say “woo her” and then have to use “sewer” to rhyme!). I wonder what zoo animal she has in her tattoo!
Let’s hope Walt will always be so thoughtful in their married life.
CanadianEh, Misty, Wilbur & Owen! ~ The Gang's all here!
I suspect either collusion or a very happy Coinka-Dink, in that today's solution is a HOLE IN ONE,
and on the very same day W is using the Bot starter as its answer!!
I mean, what are/were the odds?
Owen ~ Thanks for starting us off with a focus on Congress. This Monday may be one of the current session's most historic days.
Misty ~ I enjoyed reading abt Walt & Wendy, and especially appreciated your neat enjambment.
Ahhh...
You have no idea what it does for me when you break out of those tight couplet end-stops. Thank you!
CEh! ~ We both addressed the idea of a house limit--you to pointedly leave it out, me to defy it. In both cases, our winners truly won!
Sorry to drag you into American politics, even as an observer. We Yanks know so little of your game, other than Trudeau being your PM (with an apparent affinity for appearing on camera en dรฉguisement).
He seems to have been the Liberals' leader for a long time. Have you no term limits?
~ OMK
WC ~ Good job on Wordle today.
Well, at least not bad. Your and Misty's birdies made decent showings, especially working hint-free.
As did my bulls-eye.
But I had the sheer luck of beginning (and ending) with the original Bot word.
I did not even use the current Bot starter, but the very first word--so I think that adds to my suspicion that a "hole in one" was intended by the powers (editorial) that be.
~ OMK
Sorry I have to ask, OMK: but what exactly is a "Bot" with a capital B? Never heard that term used before.
Misty ~

OMK- good observation re the apparent correlation between W and J solution today.
Re our Canadian Prime Ministers: there is no term limit. As long as their party is in power and their party has not requested a leadership review, they remain as Prime Minister. Justin Trudeau has served for just over seven years consecutively; his father Pierre was Prime Minister for over fifteen years (a term of eleven years, then a later term of four years).
There are pros and cons.
Misty- a Bot is an internet program that can collect and interpret data. In the case of Wordle, the words can be studied for a pattern of letter use. Then the Bot recommends a starter word that uses these 5 most common letters. Today’s Wordle was that Bot-chosen word. Since many people may use that word for their first guess, the chance of having many people get a HOLE IN ONE today is large.
Oops!
My mistake.
I said I used the first Wordle Bot starter. Not so.
CRANE was the original start word.
For the record, I began today with the second recommended starter.
~ OMK
Thank you, both, OMK and CE!. I did look up that site with the long complicated address but the explanation is so intricate that I don't think I can go down that route. I think I'll just have to rely on hints and best guesses and live with the result.
And ironically my first W-word was FIRST(Then STAKE)
No bots for me. My enjoyment is finding a hole and digging out before I lose the shovel
So Owen disguised the W? Eh? C? I'll look again
I did all my solving last night but was busy all day
Misty , you and C-eh are getting quite good. I wonder if Chet will get a Lois tattoo?
