(It is Old Jed’s birthday, and he is possessive of an ancient volume. It seems to have survived several generations. Although covered in leather, it is worn thin in places. He won’t let anyone touch it.
Why is he clinging to it? In his head, this is a noble defense; he almost hears the birthday song…)

As an everyday thing, it is simply too decadent (not to mention hard, overworked, & time-consuming). But fun—a thing to be appreciated as a neat rarity!

OMK- your title was great (especially with the backstory) and matched the Jumble reveal more closely than mine. I agree that encryption is to hard and time- consuming (for both the creator and the decoder) for everyday use. I managed to hide the D word today (but not as close to the original as might be desired).
Misty- you took the album in a different direction, wit( music instead of pix. Also a different use of bound. And thankfully, the J words were more agreeable for you today. Lucky Annie.

Wilbur, I bet your Wordle was brilliant today. I had friends I hadn't seen in years come to visit me and bring me lunch today, and we spent hours reminiscing all the years of our life. As a result I'm still a bit groggy, though I enjoyed that delightful visit to no end, but I'll have to put Wordle off until tomorrow. Still have a note telling me to write down all the words as I proceed.
