Today’s Jumble haiku:
(Stan’s magical uncle has a way with electronics—& with food.
His strange repast might be filling, but not at all well-balanced. It counts as…)
“One Coarse Meal”
Stan’s shrewd, starved uncle
can turn his modem into
one large can o’ peas.

Another British favourite on the menu today (but served with a French flair).
Mushy Peas
My uncle had no molars,
Chewing was a problem.
I shrewdly served a can of peas
À la mode - emergency averted
With a one-course meal.
OMK- I smiled to see that we both turned the J word into the same food.
Stan’s uncle had great magical powers with that conversion.
"Outdoor Dining"
My uncle ordered us a meal,
using his modem on the golf course.
It was delicious and had great appeal,
and we would definitely the diner endorse.
Under a canopy we munched and chewed,
and thanked our uncle for that shrewd food.
Yep, CEh! you served a similar dish, although that nephew left a messy “f” on the plate, while cleverly averting an emergency.
Misty’s uncle managed to get the staff to deliver a meal out in the open air, food of presumably more substance (that they “munched and chewed”) than our guys swallowed.
I wonder at which hole they erected their picnic paraphernalia…?
“Playing through!”

Was a little chewy
I got careless on 1,2,3 and had to do some work

I'm glad OMK 's guy found a use for that modem. Misty's uncle should get a smartphone but he's not the only Senior who's old school
WC
Where'd he find one at a golf course???
To answer your question, WC (@11:33), mayhap it was at Turnberry Golf Course in Scotland, the one owned by one DJ Trump.
Why?
In his attempt to buy his way into golf history and tradition, he probably eschews WiFi in the club house & instead offers guests '70s' era's dial-up modems.
While on that subject, & knowing my Stan's uncle is a Wiz with electronics, why on earth would he settle for a can o' peas?
I guess certain physical objects are capable of a broader range of transformations but, sadly, modems ain't one of 'em.
I believe his choices were limited to (in addition to peas) a jar of kale, 6 Brussel sprouts, or a sickly toad.
I applaud his selection.

Very clever haiku, Ol' Man Keith--had to chuckle at that can o' peas Stan's uncle favored.
CanadianEh!, so glad your poor toothless uncle was able to avoid a modem-ergency.
Wow! Three Wordles today, including Wilbur's chewy one. That gives me courage to try one too, though I bet mine will be chewy too.
