The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are welcomed! And couching them in Poetry is definitely NOT required.
Do not explicitly reveal any of the actual answer words until after closing time, but embedding them surreptitiously in comment sentences is encouraged.

(Two poems today,
two versions of an Inuit [or Esquimau] fantasy—
a sort of bluesy torch number,
for treats once tasted…)
They share this title:
“Sass(y) Low Song!”
First, a traditional septet …
It was a dream that filled his noggin,
of an Eden so sweet
(a Utopian treat)!
He imagined, by his igloo,
(WooHoo!) a full-freight toboggan
all sloshed,
and awash in blubber & polar bear meat.
And a brief variant in this haiku…
His noggin a-slosh
with utopian dreams. // Ig-
Loos full of ice creams!

I'm reposting Lois's email Here's Lois's take
Chet, if there's one thing I've learned: you won't be short-changed here
Once you get it in your noggin that the only fear is FEAR
It may not be a utopia but it's better than that igloo of the mind
It's my hope in a Higher Power that leaves the past behind
When you were a boy scout on those ten mile hikes uphill
That was no indoor sport but rather a contest of will
But willpower never kept us from getting sloshed in bars
It was faith in a Higher Power: whether the universe or stars
I've finally been taught the difference of right from wrong.
This and other lessons learned is why I've lasted so long

Fln, my penultimate guess on W334 was FLASK.
Ceh, I missed your A,B,C,B,C rhyming scheme.
And Owen, our Laureate has established like OMK mentioned that assurance suffices
I think I knocked off wordle just after midnight EDT
Next post.

Oh, Misty, I combined Thursday's J's with today's
Sandy I think you'd spot it
Solution is apt for Phillip and the last black letter was Z
"New Home"
Connie hired a crew
to build her a new igloo.
But her utopia did not last
after a stormy blast
of rain that did everything squash
and turned the area into a slosh.
Her noggin finally suggested a house
that might help her attract a spouse.
At long last Connie is happily wed,
and she and her partner live in a shed.

Thanks for re-posting, Wilbur.
I admired her contrasting the kind of willpower that keeps a scout marching uphill vs. what’s needed to stay clean in a bar.
Good thinking, Lois!
Misty ~ I got a kick envisioning a construction crew hired to build a home out of snow!
Connie wised up, figuring you get more husbands (Ya reckon?!) with a real house.
Your poem is a comic delight!

Well, Ol' Man Keith, I hope your fellow gets most of his utopian dream, or at least the ice cream. Love the way you nowadays give us both a long and a short verse version--a delight.
Wilbur, I'm glad Lois is advising Chet to look to a Higher Power. Time for all of us to do that. And nice job working in all those Js.
In my noggin, I could rhyme with the best of them. But that is utopia.
In reality, I slosh through the reams of possibilities, but never seem to find a match.
But at last, after so long a time, WC noted my scheme yesterday. Now I am gamer to try again. Maybe tomorrow!
(Perhaps the igloo will fit then!)
I forgot to post my Wordle result.
I got “phew” . Good work all.

I was puzzled for a bit, Wilbur (& CanadianEh!), but I think I have it now...
Where you said "assurance" in your 2nd post today, I think you meant "assonance"--the device I noted in my post on CE's poetry yesterday.
We have to be on the lookout for Google-Correct! It sometimes sows more confusion than it solves problems.
Meanwhile, CE, you keep on assonanting!
~ OMK
LOL OMK re assonating. My offering today had no rhyme nor reason . . . but I did use all the words, plus Wordle!
CE ~
Maybe you had no Rhyme
(no need to take the time!),
but, what's always in season,
I saw plenty of Reason.
