Well, Owen, it looks like I found the way to change the publication date. I fiddled with several possible solutions, so I can’t say I’m sure which one did the trick.
We’ll just have to see if I can repeat it tonight.
FLN, Misty ~ I’m sorry, but I can’t buy your explanation—because you have shown more than once that you can handle Wordle by yourself as well as anyone here!
And anyway, if you really want a hint, both WC + CEh! leave excellent hints every day. Owen leaves clues too!
Please understand: I was happy to post hints when I thought you really needed them, but when I saw you solving some in 3 and 4 attempts, I just thought, Whew! That relieves me of having to do them every night.
I just don’t find them as challenging as others do. Now I will do them occasionally but not if I stumble across an internet hint and not on a routine basis.
FLN, Wilbur ~ Wow again! More entries from Lois & Chet. They are both quite eloquent—on the tale of their original romantic encounter AND, here especially, on the value of AA in their lives.
They each give powerful witness, contrasting their new lives of love and giving with the “fraudulent” existences they had before.
I’m sure I am not your only reader who is absolutely happy for them.

OMK- I was searching for a way to include Cactus today. Cactus Pete “popped up” in my head (LOL re today’s CW) and I LIUed. I found Cactus Pete Piersanti and the info that I used as a base for my offering. He really was instrumental in founding in Jackpot Nevada.

Florida used a Tribal exception to legalize gambling called Seminole

My apology, Ol' Man Keith, and thank you for your comment on my Wordle difficulties. From now on I'll do my best to just consider everyone's possible clues here and there, if there are any, or, if not, just take my best chance. I'll do my best to be a little braver in the future.

CEh! ~ I learned of Alberta's cattleman legacy years ago, when our Dad got me a 16 mm projector for Xmas, and it came with some short silent movie reels.
One of the movies was entitled "Calgary Stampede." It showed several riding and roping events from that famous rodeo. Whoopie!
Until then, I had no idea Canada had a West. Like many Americans (U.S. version), I thought Canada was only North and East.
I was maybe ten years old.
