Today’s Jumble haiku:
(Nine of the titles under the new “Vagrancy/Homeless” law were badly written. The SLLC [State Legal Logic Commission] assigned Judge Lee the duty of revising them before the date for the law’s enactment.
But he procrastinated, “twiddling his fingers and chilling his toes,” as they say.
And he ran out of time.)

Yes OMK, I did give Misty an easy Wordle solve yesterday. She had been getting discouraged with Wordle.
We’ll see how robust she is today.

The town hired a new lawman
who drove in a yellow van.
He considered his job vital,
and was proud of his new title.
His bold decisions were made quick,
using facts and thoughtful logic.
He was careful and always did wait
and did never early fixate.
His flotilla of fans had elected him
because they really respected him.

It is silly and an abuse of public trust for a lawman to waste his time on a change of title.

OMK- LOL, I never thought of spelling it with a U, but I LIUed, and there is a British spelling with a U. This Canadian has never seen it used here. Very strange how we change between the British and American usage. We Canadians are adaptable!

Titles in favor of a tradition that eschews anything politic
We must not fixate on the past but rather on our daily sessions
Our society welcomes all with the desire into the room
But on page 24 it emphasizes that "No action spells doom"

After Bill W tells his story about repeated attempts to get sober on his own, on page 24 in italics he emphasizes the "doom" in store for those who try to get by with halfway measures.
