Head honcho to buddy,

Mist and strong headwinds made things muddy
And delayed them on the mountain.

Bob had a very kind buddy
who helped him with work in his study.
The guy was a diligent honcho
who enjoyed wearing a poncho.
He helped Bob design a mosaic
that looked ancient and archaic.
They worked hard to create no peeve,
which did good spirits weave.
In the end Bob promoted his peer
with a headwind that launched his career.
Misty,
Please attend to me, pronto,

They might take the prize

The couple arrived at Charles and Nora's mosaic tiled patio.
Chet's head was still roiled; weaving interrelationship ratios
"Could we survive as buddies?" Chet idly pondered.
"The headwinds may be against us but my love won't be squandered"
"Charles may be a head honcho, a downtown ViP
But does he understand true love? Healthy life's recipe?"

C & L seem to be on the verge of the ultimate commitment. I wonder how much their plans depend on Charles--if at all.
They seem to care a lot about his opinion, even though they aren't sure how much he understands of their feelings for one another.

Misty- I fooled you with that apron. I was thinking of the lesser-known meaning - .
a small area adjacent to another larger area or structure.

But no written invitations tonight, that wasn't to be Nora's way
She wanted Chet and Lois to relax, lay back and enjoy the day
