"Marry Tale"
Mary's and Larry's fairy tale
began when they first exchanged cards in the mail.
Their comments were nice and had spice,
and soon Larry proposed to her, twice.
This gave their friendship a whole new chord
and soon their love and passion soared.
So, lately a stately wedding was planned
and the couple walked down the aisle, hand in hand.
They promised to stay together always
and to treasure and cherish every one of their days.
Took a bit of effort, but I finally got it:

A nice story, Misty, that of Mary & Larry.
Not an unexpected trajectory given your propensity for love & romance. But actually both realistic & practical when read closely.
I notice that they promise to “treasure and cherish” each day together, not necessarily to enjoy them.
That’s just good sense. It should help them to fully appreciate their commitment.
Good job with Wordle. I lucked out in reach’ing with my first try.

I would say both of our verses this morning were in the same spirit, Ol' Man Keith. And I'm always amazed when I can find all four Jumble words and solution in your brief and tight and lyrical haiku. And your Wordle this morning also simply amazed me. Woohoo! Mine was a bit of a slog, as you can see, but I still got an undeserved "splendid" response from the its site.
It always seems lately,
When the chord is stately,
That the dairy has been calm,
And cows’ tails flick like balm.
Retro music gives twice the yield of milk.

CEh! ~ Well expressed! The ratio of calming music to milk seems highly favorable.
I think anyone who manages Wordle on four tries is doing quite well. (What music were YOU hearing?)

Other work should take priority, no more excuses.

"Keith or whoever (CEh!? Some lurker?), first step is to get the new day's Jumble. I get it from the Chicago Trib, where it comes at 6pm (Mountain time; your time will be an hour off), but I chop that up to get the blog page. To save you that effort, at or after 11pm go to https://www.arkansasonline.com/puzzles/jumblenh/ . Copy the Jumble image from there. Just the Jumble image, not the whole page.
"I assume you've found the dashboard, and the page that lists all posts. The bottom-right corner will have a large orange disk with a + sign in the middle. That's what you need to start a new day. Press that and the edit page will come up. you can leave the title blank. In the edit section will be the welcome message that I wrote. At the start of that message is || . Put your cursor between those lines, and press [ctrl] [H]. Press the save icon at the top-right, and you're done!
"Once you get that down, two additional steps are to adjust the size of the image to a width of 616-620 pixels. The column is 620 pixels wide but I like to give it some extra slack.
"The other thing is to set the publishing time (assuming you're posting before midnight, otherwise just leave it alone). Before you save, press the cog-wheel icon on the right edge. That will drop down a menu covering the right side of the page. About a page down on that menu will be the publishing time. Click that and change the time to 12 am, and for the puzzle's date."

Re: Crossword Corner, this blog was started because there were objections to Jumble being too off-topic there (and Wordle too when it came around) There was even an objection to too many cross-postings with invites to come over here. Those were allowed, as long as they weren't tooo numerous, but they were getting that way.
The instructions I posted a few days ago will result in the newspaper copy like the one above, instead of the cleaner (IMHO) image I create. Comments please.
Whoops! I did the Tues Jumble before checking back here, Wilbur, so I knew the riddle solution before reading your latest C&L installment.
Sorta like my Wordle problem. I always seem to spot the answer, or at least a hint, before the Times makes it available to me.
Good job on your Wordle BTW. I agree that Pickwick exemplifies that adjective.
I gotta kick out of Lois today, praying for mercy on spotting Holly’s radish-red sweater.
Of all the colors that are fine in nature but impossible for people, radish takes the prize.
It is just too *#@! cold a hue for humans.
Let’s hope Miz Lois can contain herself… for the greater good.
