The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

It's Fathers Day, the third Sunday in June,
To honor the men who can light up a room.
Whether he's shaven or whether he's fuzzy,
his love for his children is fizzy and bubbly!
A good Father treasures his kids and their Mother,
And they'd rather have him as Dad, and no other!
Fathers and children should be cuddly as kittens,
And depend on Fathers to make wise decisions!
Most Fathers are good, not some cruel satire.
They set an example to which kids will aspire.
Some day, some physicist, with a grant from the gov,
Will break all meters, measuring cubic Father-love!
Kinda funny. Most of these punny Jumble solutions qualify as "Dad jokes," so this one is appropriate for Fathers' Day.
Owen, I like your "starry" picture. You put a lot of thought into your choices to illustrate these captions.

And I posted right on the heels of your poem!
It's a neat commentary on the joys--and duties--of fatherhood.
Again, I marvel at your enterprise. You have your hands truly full, my friend; you have one very busy fist!
