Dimly in my fondest dreams I see
A vacation perfect just for me!
A nudist beach, where fit and buff
I strut my perfect abs and stuff!

Slathered in canola oil I lounge
And tan just to a golden brown!
I will ride a pedal bike a bit
And feel I'm flying, I'm so fit!

Since I'm bare (in my mind's eye)
A dip into the surf I'll try.
Frolic for hours like an otter,
Till I'm a raisin from the water!

Alas, my true reality sets in:
A fat old fart who stinks like sin!

A great poem, except I refuse to accept the ending. And you snuck in all the jumble words so ingeniously.

The jumble itself was difficult only in the third clue, which kinda stumped me. But once I had all the letters, the solution jumped right out. Lol.

Sweet, funny poem with a startling ending, Owen. And I'm so glad it showed me that all my Jumble answers had been correct. I had a very hard time with the crossword this morning, even though I had my first good night's sleep in a week. And, of course, I can never do the Friday Diabolical Sudoku. So I depended on the Kenken and the Jumble for satisfaction, and hurray, I got it. Loved the outfits on the cartoon hikers with their shorts and socks and different backpacks. Nice to feel good on this Friday morning, after all. Have a good weekend coming up.
