FLN: Two days ago (?), WC, when I wasn't using any hints, and scored with Wordle on the 2nd level, you said I was "lucky" with my opening word.
Yes, I was, so I think it fair to share.
But it was nothing special. I often use one of the standard openers, one that poses 4 out of 5 vowels: ADIEU.
Since the answer was ADMIT, you can see how well that worked.
But I can add that ADIEU has often worked well. Even when at its wrongest, it will reveal something about the distribution of vowels, or the absence (therefore presence) of "O."
Hey! Whatcha gonna do?
A familiar French word is ADIEU!
But now you ask me, "What’s it to you?"
It hardly counts as anything odd.
Don't I wish everyone, "Go with God"?

Today’s Jumble haiku:
(The door-to-door representative thwarted us;
he could not help us to fulfill our real wishes, but was only intent on meeting his quota.)
“(Not) Mine In Hand”
He hindered humans,
right & left, but guided us
to buy cheap siding.
~ OMK
Fortunately I did not use your vowel-rich starting word today OMK.
(Although it might have been useful in eliminating vowels!)

The Journey Begins
She was only human
And her Kleenex was soggy with tears.
The demands were high
And so were her fears.
But with a sponsor on her side
And the 12 Steps to guide,
Nothing would hinder her.
Wordle 465 hint: Two syllables, an adjective; unpleasantly wet & soft.

"Happy Husband"
Nancy married a new man
who was kind and very human.
The fellow took great pride
being a guide for his lovely bride.
When he got tired of his job siding
he and Nancy would go riding.
He did nothing to hinder anything they planned
and so was a husband in high demand.
Well, it took two tries, but thanks to your hint, I got it, Ol' Man Keith:

And your morning haiku again amazed me. I had to take to the Jumble to check off all your words, but there they were, every one, along with your always delightfully re-arranged title of the solution. Many thanks for that pleasure, too.
CanadianEh!, so glad your Lois (if that's who she is) has a sponsor to get back on track. I'll keep my fingers crossed that she'll continue her good journey.
My goodness, CEh! I am glad your "only human" gal has embarked on the right journey via AA.
It is impressive to see how thoroughly WC's good guidance has permeated this site. We are all becoming knowledgeable in the workings of at least some of the 12-step program!
Misty, your appreciation of my verse is, in turn, much appreciated!
And your poem keeps up your positive theme, the delight that "Nancy" has found in her new hubby. He is clearly a man who will not let anything get in the way of his bride's happiness.
(I take it "job siding" means either guidance for his wife is a "side job" or an avocation--analogous to the side track a train can take to get out of the way of the main route.)

Thanks all for the good wishes for She.
Misty- what a good husband . . . and I smiled that he was “in high demand”!
OMK- I thought that the husband’s job was installing aluminum siding on houses.
