The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

The big city can be smoggy in the summer,
But all year it has an aura of a hummer.
Things are buzzing, this is where it happens!
Here is where the pace never slackens!
So sometimes you have to leave to recharge.
Go out into the country-side at large.
Take some time to let the outdoors share
Nature's honor of balance and fresh air.
Let the pace of the seasons absorb you.
Be in the Now, with no dragons to subdue.
By that metric let your psyche relax,
To face the big city when it attacks.
That is Deepak Chopra level crap, but I couldn't go two days in a row without a poem. At least it has a calming tone, and mimics well 'profound'.
You're surely in "the Now" when you compose. What may be crap to you shows finesse nevertheless. It's as hard to bury talent as it is to fake it.
Many's the would-be poet, the wannabe artiste who wishes for that fine pair of the Muse's gifts--Talent & Discipline--yet lacks one or the other, or both! To be endowed as you are with the two, plus the Generosity to share them routinely with others, is a blessing to you and a boon to us all.

Well even Deepak Shopra can't be wrong all the time. I first look for the J's and the Riddle-Solution. Then I go back and read the poem for it's own merits.
OMK and I are on the same page re. your talent. I look at four words and wonder how you'll fit then in(and seamlessly).
This was an easy Jumble today.

Speaking of seamless, OMK fitted his italics that way. I see I lost mine between docs and blog.
Owen, I agree with Ol'Man Keith's and Wilbur's tribute to your talent and hard work--you are really amazing--thank you! This Jumble was a delight. I had trouble only with the third word, but got it after a bit of work. And the solution popped up instantly. Fun cartoon with the two brothers looking and dressing nearly alike, and nice beach background.
I've had a good Tuesday morning, getting the Crossword puzzle, Sudoku, Kenken, and the Jumble--all four! Helps my spirits during a slightly tough month.
