The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

Will the Singularity bring utopia for man,
Or will we falter as humans often can?
Out of the salad of egos, flesh and steel,
Will some be unwilling to join the common weal?

Will they prefer to keep space in between
Their private self and the omni-machine?
Will they opt out of the universal embrace,
Because they covet power, or pride of place?

Had a bit of trouble with the Jumble clues this morning--thanks for helping me get the third and the fourth one, Owen. But I still had trouble with the solution--guess I'm just not a space expert. Still, both your poem and the cartoon--with the very different-looking and dressed guys and the wide background--were a delight. Many thanks again.
